Kitchen Remodel
We just completed a long overdue kitchen remodel. Melodie was so patient with us, and took the time to really understand what we wanted to accomplish and pulled the entire process together. I had expressed concern to my husband that it would be hard to find that "one person" who truly understood what we both had pictured in our minds and make it happen. Well, let me tell you, Melodie not only understood us she overwhelmed us with every aspect of this process. From the beginning she respected out budget, made our crazy deadline of having it done before Christmas, and used such professional contractors. She delivered on everything she said. I have joked with my husband that we even today may still be walking around a granite store unable to find anything or getting a divorce attorney. Not really, but you get the idea. I am so glad we found Melodie, as a neighbor, friend and a designer. I can't wait to start another project with her! - Amanda H.

I loved working with Melodie! I'm fairly good with putting things together and making a room look decorated but, I was completely stuck with what color to paint my great room and dining room! I sat with color swatches on my wall for a year trying to make a decision. Melodie came in and instantly had vision for the perfect colors for my walls and look. She knew exactly what colors would look great and she was right! We love our new, bright, updated space. I couldn't have done it without her. Recently, my husband and I did an extensive remodel project on our home. We completely gutted all the main living areas for a more modern update and opened up interior walls for better traffic flow for entertaining. We had to store a houseful of furniture and accessories for several months while the project was completed. With only one week away from a major annual party we host, I panicked at the overwhelming task of putting my old stuff back in my newly remodeled home. As a bachelor, I needed help decorating my new home. I asked Melodie to make use of my existing furniture, but arrange it so that it would be more functional. Melodie has a vision and knows how to execute it. She not only knew where to place my furniture, but was able to incorporate pillows, plants, and other accessories. Even with these accessories, she was still able to make my house look masculine. The items that she finds were always pleasant surprises.
